Pool tile grout is used for repairing and replacing damaged tiles of pool. We select grout basics of its desired color and its use in project whether project is small or large scale. Owners of swimming pool use sanded epoxy, cemented or waterproof tile grout for their projects. Classic Portland cement and epoxy grout are two commonly and mostly used tile grout. Cement has less durability and hardness than epoxy. Epoxy tile grout is used for small scale projects while for Portland cement tile grout is used for large scale projects. Cement tile grout is less expensive and used for repairing purposes of pool. 

During grouting a pool, some factors are kept in mind such as waterproof and durability of grout. Sometimes we can use cement pool tile grout when required where epoxy tile grout fail to reach or stop working.

Chemicals can be used to clean the surface without damaging the grout if it is mixed with 3 parts water. It is totally misconception that bleach can damage darker grout. Regular pool cleaning with chemicals with desired amount can prevent damage to pool grout and will not also affect dark grout. Degradation of grout in pool occurs due to several factors. Deterioration of cement grout occurs more than epoxy grout. Deterioration occurs to improper pool water chemistry maintenance, filling the pool too early, use of unsuitable grout, and poor mixing of grout or improper installation.
